Pay Range: $110,616.95-$138,271.19
Job Summary The Assistant Chief Technologist oversees daily imaging operations at the Moses Division, coordinating staff and resources to ensure efficient patient throughput. This role ensures a safe, high-quality clinical environment that meets the needs of patients and physicians, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The position also supports staff training, competency, and workflow optimization. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily imaging operations, staff, and resource allocation
- Ensure technical staff competency and adherence to imaging protocols and quality standards
- Assign schedules and ensure adequate 24/7 staffing coverage
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety, departmental policies, and regulatory requirements
- Promote patient and staff safety and continuous quality improvement
- Conduct monthly quality assurance reviews and report findings
- Train and support staff in PACS, Epic, and related imaging systems
- Monitor workflows to improve efficiency and service delivery
Schedule
- FridayDay shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Double shifts on Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 AM
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- NYS Department of Health Licensed Radiologic Technologist required
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with CT or MRI certificationrequired
- Prior experience in imaging operations or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency with PACS, Epic, and imaging systems
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills
