About The Role

POSITION SUMMARY:

To provide support to the Loan Quality Control Manager. The position will adhere to all applicable laws and regulations as well as Foothills Bank and Glacier Bank policies and procedures. The role requires a prominent level of communication and organizational skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learn all duties needed to back up the Loan Quality Control Manager in times of PTO or illness.
  • Have excellent communication with loan officers to process an adverse action file completely and accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Reg B and FCRA timelines and documentation requirements to ensure information and disclosures were delivered on time.
  • Understanding commercial, consumer and real estate loans to complete adverse action packets correctly.
  • An understanding of how to review loan documents such as credit authorizations as well as collateral, flood, appraisals, CRA and HMDA requirements.
  • Review consumer and commercial loan document files to ensure they are complete & accurate according to credit write-up, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with responding to audit findings.
  • Perform job functions in compliance with all company policies, federal and state rules, and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to Reg B, FCRA, Flood, HMDA, CRA.
  • Help create documentation for training all lending departments when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

About You

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent or higher education preferred.
  • Preferred minimum of 3 years of banking experience in a lending area.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:

  • Advanced/Intermediate computer skills preferred including MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Demonstrate an elevated level of organization, ability to prioritize and multi-task with attention to detail and accuracy, manage multiple projects, be self-motivated with deadline-oriented work ethics
  • Work well under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Consequences of Errors: Errors may have a significant adverse effect on the organization and relations with customers. Additionally, errors may cause adverse regulatory consequences and/or significant financial loss to the organization.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work performed in an office environment. Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, dependable, and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Sedentary work. Exerting up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
