Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

KLA is seeking a dedicated chemical process engineer to ensure production quality and compliance before finished goods are shipped.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits of production steps, ensure all reported gaps been addressed and closed prior shipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve reported issues.
  • Monitor missing part shipments and ensure customer commitments are met.
  • Oversee and support installed software versions, including creating software packages and preparing shipment documentation.
  • Review inhouse chemical blends/testing data routinely by maintaining quality management system and bring improvements as needed.
  • Perform chemical testing for analyzers when needed for final inspection, including preparing chemicals for testing at different volumes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, including Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, and Customer Support.
  • Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and data analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A skeptical mindset and the confidence to raise relevant questions to stakeholders as needed.
  • Highly organized and able to deliver multiple tasks and within timelines
  • Familiar with the analytical techniques and processes for analyzer evaluation.
  • Familiar with Conductivity, Titration, spectroscopy, HPLC etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Quick learner and multitask in fast paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Be able to complete assigned work in short notices and be team player to reach departmental goal.
