POSITION OVERVIEW:
Lead, plan, and oversee the execution of global strategic business initiatives, providing direction and guidance to project teams while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Manage resources, set priorities, and drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver results for senior and executive leadership across one or more key business areas.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, setting direction, establishing priorities, and overseeing the development of project plans, research, analysis, and documentation of business requirements for financial systems and databases. Apply strong technical and accounting expertise to guide solution design and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Oversee the stability, performance, and lifecycle management of finance systems, including quarterly patching, maintenance, and optimization activities.

Partner strategically with IT and other stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and deliver finance-related technology initiatives.

Provide leadership and governance for financial systems support, ensuring timely issue resolution, high-quality user guidance, and the delivery of proofs of concept and system enhancements that improve performance, usability, and overall user experience.

Develop, review, and deliver executive-level communications and presentations, synthesizing complex information into strategic updates on modernization progress, key decisions, risks, and trade-offs for senior leadership.

Ensure organizational compliance by overseeing adherence to regulations, internal controls, and company policies and procedures across team activities and system processes.

Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and support broader organizational priorities.

Perform additional leadership duties as needed.

Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.

Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent in accounting, finance, business, engineering, information systems or other related business discipline.
  • Five (5) years' professional experience in management consulting, internal audit, accounting, finance, project/program management, vendor management or information systems with emphasis on accounting or back-office environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP), overseeing end-to-end finance processes including P2P, R2R, and period-end close, and guiding teams in implementing and optimizing related functionalities.
  • Oversight of integration architecture and tools, including APIs, REST, SOA, and FTP frameworks, ensuring scalable, secure data connectivity and automation across systems and business functions.
  • Strong command of governance, compliance, and audit readiness standards, with the ability to establish controls, drive adherence, and ensure organizational and regulatory requirements are met across financial systems
  • Experienced in evaluating strategic trade-offs involving customization, integration complexity, release cycles, and system standardization, providing leadership recommendations that balance operational needs with long-term platform scalability.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate technical and strategic topics to executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Strategic and analytical leadership, defining product and system direction, assessing improvement opportunities, and guiding teams through modernization and transformation initiatives.
  • Advanced problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making abilities, managing complex integrations, competing demands, and high-impact technology trade-offs to ensure successful outcomes.
