Description

Continental Properties is looking for an action-oriented, experienced Data Engineer II to join our Data Engineering and Analytics at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

As a Data Engineer II at Continental Properties, you'll design, develop, and support data solutions that empower our teams and shape our business decisions. You'll work with both structured and unstructured data, collaborating with business users, and leading technical initiatives that make a real difference.

We are embracing a hybrid working environment and you can work a combination of in the office and remote. Initial onboarding may require more in-office days, after which you'll transition to our standard hybrid schedule.

Essential Responsibilities:




  • You'll work with data from internal and external sources, using both cloud and on-premises environments



  • Develop and support automated processes to clean, organize, and transform data into products and insights



  • Make key decisions on complex data issues and help shape technical approaches for projects



  • You'll design and develop data pipelines for warehousing, BI reporting, and analytics using tools like Matillion, DBT, Snowflake and Power BI



  • Implement data quality and integrity checks, proactively identifying and resolving issues



  • Collaborate with business users to understand analytics and reporting needs, and help identify the best data sources



  • You'll assist business users with technical tasks, including data extracts, report creation, SQL, and troubleshooting



  • You'll develop and maintain documentation for databases and Power BI datasets




Skills for Success:



  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in a SQL-based data engineering or analytics role.
  • You're skilled with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar), databases (Microsoft SQL, MySQL, etc.), and other technical tools (Snowflake, Azure, Matillion, DBT, Python, R, REST API, AWS)
  • You have experience developing complex queries, data modeling, and ETL processes in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The posted salary range represents our good faith estimate of the base salary for this role at the time of posting. Final compensation is based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include bonus potential or other forms of compensation and benefits.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000
