Who We Are
We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport's growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open.

The RoleThe Wheelchair Tennis Intern will be an essential part of the wheelchair tennis team, supporting key grassroots initiatives and contributing to projects that offer meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. This internship provides the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of adaptive sports, gain exposure to working with individuals with disabilities, and build skills relevant to future roles within the USTA.
As part of the team, you will assist with in-person wheelchair tennis events throughout the summer, contribute to research and analysis that support program growth, and collaborate with various USTA business units to advance the sport nationally. You will play an active role in initiatives related to Disability Pride Month, high school tennis inclusion, and sport chair maintenance.
