Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Purpose and Scope

This role provides advanced financial analysis and systems expertise to support Tolmar's accounting and finance functions. You will focus on streamlining financial processes and enhancing system integration across platforms. The position requires the application of specialized analytical and technical skills to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting, you will take a hands-on role in developing automated solutions and supporting team members through knowledge sharing and mentorship.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Close



  • Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including gross-to-net analysis, trial balance review, accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations.


  • Perform and review intercompany transactions, eliminations, and support consolidated financial reporting under IFRS.


  • Serve as analyst for gross-to-net accruals, reserve monitoring, true-up calculations, and forecast-to-actual analytics.


  • Support audits, testing of internal controls, and system enhancements related to operational accounting.


System Administration



  • Act as secondary administration resource for OneStream and Blackline, assisting with configuration updates, metadata maintenance, security, and report development.


  • Support accounting systems and improvements, including BlackLine, OneStream and ERP enhancements. Monitor data integration across systems.


Continuous Improvement



  • Identify and drive process improvements in accounting workflow, efficiency, and data controls; develop automated reporting.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve variances, enhance system design, and validate financial trends.


  • Train and mentor team members in system functionality, reporting tools, and best practices.


  • Perform various other duties as assigned.



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities




  • Experience supporting accounting systems (OneStream, ERP, BlackLine) and ability to translate requirements into system improvements.


  • Advanced accounting knowledge with experience in gross-to-net, accruals, intercompany consolidations, and financial close operations.


  • Strong analytical skills and data validation experience with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


  • Effective communication and collaboration with systems-oriented and cross-functional partners.


  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize recurring workflows and project initiatives.


  • Proactive problem solver with continuous improvement mindset in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.


  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of staff and management.


  • Ability to think analytically and make sound judgments from analysis.


  • Ability to perform detailed accounting duties with completeness and accuracy.

Education & Experience




  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.


  • Four or more years of experience in a professional accounting position.


  • Public accounting experience desired.



Working Conditions




  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work to adhere to strict deadlines



Compensation and Benefits




  • Pay: $115,000 to $125,000, depending on experience
