As a Patrol Armed Officer at this retail location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately during emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activity.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and any suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary.
• Maintain visible presence as an armed security professional to help to deter potential threats within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
