Are you passionate about building world-class, fast, scalable, environment support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR) for Microsoft's sovereign and national customer? With Azure's continued expansion in containerized workloads and growing customer interest to shift security left, the Air gapped Container Team is looking for software engineers who can build from the ground up across the end-to-end system. As a software engineer on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with various Azure technologies to build and maintain massively scalable cloud services. You will help design, build, and validate various components needed to maintain, scale, and make AKS and ACR the best choice for container workloads. The cloud is becoming ever more important to our lives, and malicious actors getting ever more sophisticated. You will be part of an overall vision to secure the workloads running in Azure: from code, to build, to distribution, to runtime - to help Azure be the most secure and most reliable cloud platform. Preferred/Additional qualifications: Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
