Overview
The PowerPoint Product Group is seeking a Software Engineer II to build impactful AI-powered solutions that enhance creativity and productivity across Microsoft 365 Copilot. In this role, you'll design and develop high-performance, visually rich, and user-friendly experiences for apps like PowerPoint, Designer, and Copilot-focusing on canvas interactivity, web graphics performance, and AI-driven workflows. We're looking for a hands-on engineer who values clean, maintainable code, conducts constructive reviews, and can contribute across the stack-from prototyping and deploying user-facing features to refining core technologies. You'll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, researchers, and applied scientists to bring innovative ideas to life, balancing rapid experimentation with architectural rigor. #W+D Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
