Job Title: Warehouse Clerk (Forklift Certified) Duration: 3+ Months Location: Portland OR 97220 Payrate: $17/hr. on w2 without benefits Shift Timing: 1st (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) Notes: The candidate has valid forklift certification. Job Description: This dual-role position not only involves standard warehouse duties such as inventory management and order fulfillment, but also includes customer-facing responsibilities, providing direct assistance to customers. Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or in-store pickup. Customer Service: Assist walk-in customers by providing product information, answering inquiries, and helping them order the products they need. Retail-Style Service: Handle customer transactions, process payments, and provide an overall positive experience for customers visiting the branch. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts, assist with cycle counts, and ensure stock levels are properly recorded in the warehouse management system. Receiving and Stocking: Receive incoming shipments, verify product quantities, and stock shelves or designated warehouse areas efficiently. Warehouse Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and customer service area. Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) regularly. Basic computer skills for inventory management, order processing, and customer transactions. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
