Manufacturing Technician, Cell Assembly

• Focus on work area safety, cleanliness, material usage and organization (5S)
• Operate various process equipment in the development stage and sustain 24/7 operation
• Conduct analytical tests, measure and record data using defined tools and software
• Identify problems and potential solutions to troubleshoot issues as they arise during regular production and engineering builds
• Participate in the continuous improvement of safety, quality, output, and tool uptime
• Perform equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards for equipment in varying development stages
• Support production leadership at times in organizing associates and manpower to perform engineering trials on equipment

• Experience in large- or small-scale manufacturing or some sort of process monitoring role
• Experience with operating and troubleshooting automated/semi-automated manufacturing equipment
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze problems and error conditions, identify root causes, and implement viable long-term solutions
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment and passion to perform time-sensitive analysis under pressure
• Must be available to work any shift (days and/or nights)

Essential Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
  
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day, including over varied and uneven terrain
  
• Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
  
• Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach
  
• Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours a day
  
• Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing
• Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: PAPR, safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
