Under the general direction of the Director, Physician Development for Henry Ford Health System (HFHS), responsible for supporting medical staff development and group practice development initiatives for the System. Plays a key role in the development, planning and implementation of the hospital strategy to recruit/align physicians and enhance specific hospital/HFHS market share. Plays a key role in achieving recruitment targets as identified in the medical staff development plan. Coordinates Medical Staff events, and leads various other internal or external projects and or business initiatives, as directed. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Business, Nursing, Allied Health, or Marketing required. 3-5 years of progressive experience in healthcare administration; ability to work independently. Prior management responsibility in a primary care practice preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence, negotiate, and manage sensitive situations. Proven ability to lead meetings, deliver presentations, write complex documents, and manage long-term relationships. Solid project management skills, including planning, resource allocation, and execution. Knowledge of program development, budgeting, physician contracting, and healthcare regulatory requirements. Strong analytical and consultative skills to develop strategies, policies, and process improvements in complex environments.
