Sales Representative - Modernization

Your main responsibilities

  • Meet and/or exceed assigned sales targets and customer objectives
  • Negotiate contract terms that align with company goals
  • Identify customer needs and secure new business by positioning company products and services
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; proactively address and resolve customer concerns
  • Prepare sales estimates and proposals for company products
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in line with established procedures
  • Partner with owners and building management to secure new maintenance agreements, renewals, and system upgrades (including code compliance and modernization solutions)
  • Leverage competitive insights to support sales strategy; effectively communicate key information to both customers and internal teams
  • Retain and grow existing accounts, including managing accounts receivable and driving account performance
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies with minimal oversight
  • Plan and implement sales strategies aligned with product offerings, customer needs, and market conditions
  • Understand and support overall financial goals of the business
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to build knowledge of products, services, and industry practices

What you bring

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
  • Experience: 2-5 years of technical B2B (business-to-business) sales experience preferred
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Lotus Notes and SAP a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills
  • Must have good conflict resolution skills



Base Salary $74,800 - $93,500


The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include variable incentives or benefits.
