Description

The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator assists the Clinical Research Coordinator and/or Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in contributing to the overall operational management of clinical research/trial/study activities. The incumbent recognizes and performs necessary tasks to assist the Clinical Research Coordinator and/or Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in managing projects and prioritizing work to meet necessary deadlines. The incumbent will support the Clinical Research Coordinator and/or Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in planning and organizing necessary tasks to ensure adherence to the study protocol and applicable regulations.

The full hourly salary
range for this position is
$28.43 - $45.73. Please note that the department's target hourly
pay range is $28.43 - $28.99.

Qualifications

Required:

* Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks with
thoroughness and accuracy

* Strong verbal and written communication skills along with
strong interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport, and build
relationships.

* Strong organizational capabilities.

* Skills sufficient to solve problems and identify solutions

* Ability to adapt to changing job demands and priorities;
work flexible hours to accommodate research deadlines.

* Ability to respond to situations in an appropriate and
professional manner.

* Ability to concentrate and focus in a work environment that
contains distracting stimuli and competing deadlines.

* Ability to be flexible in handling work delegated by more
than one individual.

* Typing and computer skill/ability including word-processing,
use of spreadsheets, email, data entry.

* Ability to navigate numerous software programs and
applications.

* Ability to handle confidential material information with
judgement and discretion.

* Skill in coordinating information transfer among multiple
constituents.

Preferred:

in a Health Care Setting
