An established, mission-driven community organization serving active adult residents is seeking a detail-oriented Membership Services Coordinator to support ownership transfers, membership records, and resident inquiries. This role blends administrative excellence, leasing-related knowledge, and professional customer interaction, making it ideal for candidates with prior leasing, escrow, or property administration experience who thrive in a structured office environment.

Hours & Pay



  • Full-Time: 7:00 AM start, Monday-Friday
  • Pay Rate: $23-$25 per hour
  • Employment Type: Temp-to-hire


What You'll Do



  • Prepare, compose, and type correspondence, reports, memorandums, and official forms related to membership and resale transactions
  • Review and analyze resident requests regarding membership transfers, escalating discrepancies or issues to management as needed
  • Examine legal and ownership documents to determine property and membership interests using established guidelines
  • Communicate with real estate, escrow, and legal firms to explain ownership rules and procedures
  • Ensure transactions comply with internal policies and guidance provided by corporate counsel
  • Maintain accurate records while handling sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
  • Monitor properties involved in litigation or special circumstances to prevent unauthorized transfers
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams while maintaining consistent on-site attendance
  • Provide courteous, knowledgeable service to residents, buyers, sellers, and external partners


What You'll Need



  • Prior leasing experience strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in typing or clerical studies a plus
  • Ability to type 55 words per minute accurately
  • Strong working knowledge of modern office equipment and administrative procedures
  • Familiarity with business correspondence, basic math, and recordkeeping
  • Ability to read, interpret, and explain rules, regulations, and legal documentation
  • Professional judgment to recognize boundaries related to legal guidance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently, manage repetitive tasks, and handle frequent interruptions
  • Comfort working with senior populations in a respectful, service-focused manner
