As a Security Officer- Armed Healthcare Facility - Full Time in Carrollton, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, professional communication. You will support access control and visitor guidance while delivering people-first customer service. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders, and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Carry and maintain authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal training requirements, licensing, and site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, disorderly conduct, suspicious activity, and requests for assistance from hospital departments.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify hazards or policy violations for reporting.
- Control access at designated points by verifying identification, directing visitors to proper check-in locations, and assisting with visitor management guidelines.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, radios, and/or other security-related systems, and communicate observed issues to appropriate hospital contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
- Assist with de-escalation and conflict management when interacting with patients and/or visitors experiencing stress, agitation, or behavioral concerns, within the scope of training and post orders.
- Support clinical staff during high-risk situations such as behavioral health holds or combative individuals, while maintaining professional boundaries and following site protocols.
- Provide escorts for staff, patients, and/or valuables when requested and authorized, including during low-visibility hours and in parking areas.
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift activity logs, and documentation as required, including timely notification and escalation through established channels.
- Help maintain order in high-traffic areas such as emergency department entrances, lobbies, and waiting rooms by providing presence, directions, and policy reminders.
- Participate in drills and response activities for events such as fire alarms, severe weather, missing person alerts, and/or other facility emergencies, following site procedures and chain of command.
Minimum Requirements: - Customer Service Experience - preferred.
- Armed Guard Card/License - preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
