Security Officer - Driving Patrol Tech Campus

As a Security Officer - Driving Patrol Tech Campus in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech-focused location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and communicate with staff and visitors to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement as needed to address incidents and/or emergencies.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and general inquiries while following site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
