*Front End Insurance Specialist - Onsite (Frederick, MD)* *Job Type:* Contract-to-Hire (6 months)
*Schedule:* Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (must be flexible to work 10:00am-6:30pm *1-3 days/week*) *Workplace:* On-site *Location:* Frederick, MD *Overview* TEKsystems's client is seeking Front-End Insurance Specialists to join a high-volume healthcare administration team supporting home health authorizations. This role is the front line of the revenue cycle, responsible for initiating and updating insurance verification and authorization for patient services. Ideal candidates are detailoriented, quick learners, and comfortable working in a fastpaced, productivity-driven environment. This position is perfect for individuals looking to break into the medical, insurance, or healthcare administration field. Training is provided for those with strong customer service and administrative backgrounds. *Responsibilities* * Obtain insurance benefits and authorization for ordered services promptly. * Enter detailed documentation into internal systems, including effective dates, notes, and required updates. * Conduct followups with payers via phone, email, fax, and online portals. * Coordinate with branch staff regarding authorization updates, changes, and required documentation. * Serve as a liaison between clinical locations and insurance payers. * Perform eligibility checks and related administrative tasks as assigned. * Resolve customer inquiries respectfully and efficiently. * Use multiple computer systems simultaneously across 3 monitors. * Meet daily and weekly productivity goals in a fastpaced environment. *MustHave Skills* * 1-2 years of administrative experience in a highproductivity, fastpaced environment * Strong computer navigation skills (email, Excel, multiple systems) * Ability to multitask using dual/trimonitor setups * Detailoriented data entry skills * Excellent customer service and communication abilities * Ability to learn insurance processes quickly * Must complete Excel SHL test with a score of 70%+ (basic section) *Candidate Profile* The most successful candidates demonstrate: * Professionalism * Strong communication skills * Positive attitude * Ability to work under pressure * Reliable attendance * Willingness to learn complex insurance processes This team values *soft skills and work ethic* as much as technical experience. *Growth & Hybrid Opportunity* After *6 months* and meeting performance expectations: * Potential for *hybrid schedule* (2-3 days in office alternating weeks) * Opportunities to grow in healthcare administration and insurance processing *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frederick, MD. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
