As a Security Officer - Warehouse Roving Patrol in Summerville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that can help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist with access control, support a professional visitor and employee experience, and communicate clearly with teams on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse interiors, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access control points for employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers; verify identification, follow visitor management processes, and direct individuals to the proper check-in areas.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing dock activity, truck arrivals and departures, and reporting suspicious and/or unauthorized activity per site procedures.
• Perform routine rounds to observe doors, gates, fence lines, and restricted areas for unsecured conditions and/or unusual activity, and report findings to the appropriate contacts.
• Observe CCTV and/or alarm systems when assigned, document irregular activity, and escalate concerns according to post orders.
• Complete shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs with clear, timely, and accurate information using required systems and/or forms.
• Assist with emergency preparedness activities such as responding to fire alarms, medical situations, severe weather, and/or evacuation events following site-specific instructions.
• Provide professional communication and de-escalation support when addressing policy violations and/or disruptive behavior, requesting assistance from site leadership and/or law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct vehicle and/or property checks when assigned, following established procedures and respecting privacy and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts to support daily operations, special coverage needs, and changes in site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• - Be 21+ years of age.
• - Customer service experience is preferred.
• - Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• - Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
