What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Serve as the primary front desk point of contact, greeting and directing employees, guests, vendors, and deliveries in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Support access control at the reception area by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary badges, and coordinating escorts per location policy.
  • Monitor lobby activity and assigned systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels, and report unusual activity to management and/or appropriate responders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying supervisors and/or client representatives as required.
  • Assist with phone and radio communications, including answering incoming calls, relaying messages, and coordinating service requests with building staff and/or facilities teams.
  • Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, maintaining confidentiality and following recordkeeping requirements common to financial services locations.
  • Support queue management and client service flow at the reception area, helping to reduce disruptions and help to deter unauthorized access through presence and procedure compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Guard Card and/or License is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
