As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Driver in Miromar Lakes, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer, you will support a welcoming residential community setting by managing entry points, verifying credentials, and guiding guests and vendors with clear, professional communication. You will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document activity with attention to detail. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, offering a team-focused role built on integrity, reliability, and caring service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the location by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor access as directed, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or access control systems, reporting irregular activity and escalating concerns according to site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and maintenance or access concerns, and communicate key information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
