The Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, and packaging of medical device products in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements. This role follows standard operating procedures, environmental health and safety guidelines, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and compliance. Manufacturing Technicians are trained to perform assigned tasks using various production equipment depending on the specific job function. Job Responsibilities
Perform one or more assembly line functions, including washing components or equipment, wrapping components or equipment for sterilization, assembling or gluing components, packaging and sealing devices, preparing devices for sterilization, and completing final packaging or labeling of products.
Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain compliance with GMP standards.
Operate general production equipment such as sealers, autoclaves, and stir plates.
Receive and distribute supplies within the production area as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required safety gear while on the manufacturing or warehouse floor.
Maintain reliable attendance.
Learn, understand, and apply quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Complete all required training in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Ability to work in a clean room environment while wearing required garments and personal protective equipment (PPE) such as scrubs, hair bonnets, frocks, hoods, masks, gloves, and safety glasses, based on clean room classification.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Ability to perform job duties on a rotating basis when required.
Ability to sit or stand for a minimum of eight hours with scheduled breaks.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds individually or up to 65 pounds as part of a team lift.
Ability to push and pull carts containing product or solution containers.
Ability to perform repetitive hand motions, frequent object handling, fine hand coordination, and both simple and firm hand grasping.
Vision requirement of 20/25 with or without corrective lenses.
