This is where you and your skills come in. We're currently looking for: We are seeking an experienced Professional Services Subcontractor Manager to own financial oversight and operational governance of our subcontractor ecosystem. This role is responsible for managing a $10M+ partner budget, ensuring spend discipline against forecast, and acting as the connective tissue between delivery, finance, procurement, and leadership.

This is a high-trust, high-impact role for someone who is comfortable operating with ambiguity, strong financial accountability, and cross-functional influence.

Job Duties:

  • Own day-to-day management of a $10M annual subcontractor / partner budget

  • Utilize detailed spend and utilization reports to monitor actuals vs. forecast and proactively flag risks or variances

  • Partner closely with the Senior Director to prepare and update monthly forecasts, including scenario planning and variance analysis

  • Review and approve subcontractor spend, rate changes, SOW amendments, and new partner requests

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Professional Services, Procurement, Finance, and Delivery

  • Work closely with the PO and Invoice Manager to ensure:

  • Accurate PO creation and alignment to forecast

  • Timely, accurate invoice review and approval

  • Clean month-end and quarter-end close

  • Enforce subcontractor governance, approval workflows, and spend controls

  • Continuously improve processes, reporting, and controls to scale partner operations efficiently

To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

  • 5+ years of experience in Professional Services operations, subcontractor management, or services finance

  • Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar partner or vendor budgets

  • Strong financial acumen: forecasting, variance analysis, and cost controls

  • Experience working with POs, invoices, and procurement processes

  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; comfort working from detailed spend reports

  • Ability to communicate clearly with senior leadership and cross-functional partners

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable holding firm boundaries on spend

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in SaaS or technology-enabled professional services

  • Prior partnership with PMO or services delivery teams

  • Familiarity with services margin models and utilization-based forecasting

  • Experience improving or scaling subcontractor governance frameworks

If you are hired in Colorado, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Maryland, Washington, Connecticut, Rhode Island, the compensation range for this position is between $80,850 and $169,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
