Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Senior Product Manager for Cash Products will lead the evolution of RBC Wealth Management-US's cash management suite. The focus of this role will be to provide high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients with a seamless, "private bank" digital experience that allows clients to manage their operational cash with the same sophistication as their investment portfolios. This role will have end-to-end product responsibility for Debit Cards, Checks, and Wires, ensuring these foundational banking services are integrated into a modern, consumer-grade digital ecosystem. The incumbent of this role will bridge the gap between traditional wealth management services and cutting-edge consumer digital banking.

What will you do?

  • Define the multi-year roadmap for operational cash at RBC Wealth Management-US, prioritizing features that reduce friction in moving and spending money
  • Benchmark RBC's cash products against both traditional competitors and fintech disruptors to ensure a market-leading client experience
  • Advocate for "Total Wealth" visibility, ensuring clients can view and move cash across brokerage and banking accounts effortlessly
  • Lead the delivery of new banking features, specifically focusing on the modernization of Wires (domestic and international) and Digital Debit Card management (instant issuance, spend controls)
  • Own the lifecycle of Check-related services, including remote deposit capture and digital check ordering/management
  • Translate complex regulatory and compliance requirements into intuitive user stories and technical specifications
  • Partner with Consumer Digital Product teams to leverage enterprise-level banking rails while customizing the UI/UX for the specific needs of Wealth Management clients
  • Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance and other key internal partners to ensure all money-movement features meet stringent anti-money laundering (AML) and "Know Your Customer" (KYC) standards
  • Work closely with Financial Advisors to gather feedback and ensure digital tools empower the advisor-client relationship
  • Define and track North Star metrics, such as Cash-to-AUM ratios, digital adoption rates for wire transfers, and debit card interchange revenue
  • Utilize client analytics to identify pain points in the money-movement funnel and iterate on the user experience

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field
  • 7+ years in Product Management, specifically within Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Consumer Digital Banking
  • Deep understanding of payment rails (ACH, Fedwire, SWIFT) and the lifecycle of debit card processing and physical/digital check issuance
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, collaborating directly with engineering teams to deploy APIs and microservices
  • A proven track record of delivering high-end digital experiences; you understand that for a wealth client, "simple" is a luxury
  • Exceptional ability to influence senior leadership (Director/MD levels) and present complex product trade-offs clearly

What's in it for you?

We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual.

  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program include competitive compensation and flexible benefits, such as 401(k) program with company-matching contributions, health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and paid-time off.
  • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities.
  • Ability to make a difference and lasting impact.
  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.
  • Opportunities to do challenging work.
  • Opportunities to build close relationships with clients.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $90,000-$160,000, (Minneapolis) depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
