The Campus Recruiting Specialist provides operational and programmatic support to the Campus Recruiting Manager in executing campus and early-career recruiting initiatives. This role supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of campus recruiting programs-including internships, co-ops, and entry-level hiring-while helping ensure a positive candidate experience and strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and academic institutions. The Specialist plays a key role in organizing events, managing candidate pipelines, and supporting data, communications, and logistics across the Business Center.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of campus recruiting activities, including career fairs, information sessions, classroom presentations, site visits, sponsorships, and national conferences (e.g., NSBE, SWE) and rotational programs.
- Assist with planning and logistics for intern, co-op, and early-career programs, including onboarding coordination and event scheduling.
- Help manage calendars, timelines, and task tracking for campus recruiting initiatives and projects.
- Support candidate pipelines by coordinating interview scheduling, communications, and follow-up activities.
- Assist with candidate screening, sharing, and tracking across Business Centers as appropriate.
- Help deliver a high-touch, inclusive, and professional candidate experience from first interaction through onboarding.
- Support relationship management with universities, career centers, student organizations, and academic partners.
- Assist the Campus Recruiting Manager in maintaining target school lists and tracking engagement activities.
- Partner with HR, TA, and Operations teams to support campus recruiting needs and timelines.
- Maintain accurate candidate data and documentation within applicant tracking and recruiting systems.
- Support reporting and tracking of campus recruiting metrics, including event participation, pipeline status, and conversion outcomes.
- Ensure processes align with compliance and data accuracy standards.
- Partner with Marketing and Talent Management teams to support campus recruiting communications, digital content, and outreach.
- Assist with creating and updating materials for career fairs, information sessions, and conferences.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, organization, and candidate experience within campus recruiting programs.
- Provide administrative and project support to the Campus Recruiting Manager as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or related field of study, Master's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field of study preferred with minimum of 3 years 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, campus relations, HR coordination, or a related role.
- Experience working in construction or large, multisite organizations, a plus
- Strategic mindset to define, develop, and scale Campus/Early Career programs and standardized processes across business center locations
- Advanced project management skills to communicate, implement, and manage establish program expectations with stakeholders (internally and externally)
- Knowledge and understanding of Federal, State, and local legislation impacting recruitment and hiring practices
- Ability to develop program metrics and measures and discern datadriven market trends and insights
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High degree of integrity, maintain confidential information, and exercise discretion
- Excellent professional presentation delivery and verbal and written communication skills
- Continuous improvement mindset and familiar with related concepts, methodologies, and practices
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office suite of applications with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, advanced user proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) platform and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, ability to assess recruiting analytics; and experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Smartsheet, and other major sourcing platforms, and campus recruiting tools
Travel required, specifically during peak campus seasons, for work events (occasional evenings/weekends) and to visit campuses and local offices
