Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Roseville, CA . Interested?
The Office Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support in coordinating daily activities of the DCS business unit, executives, and management teams.
Here's what you'd do:
  • Work with Roseville managers to help plan and execute employee events (e.g. Manager breakfasts, holiday celebrations, safety and evacuation plans, etc.)
    • Participate in regular managers' meeting.
    • Support management and employees in promoting team building activities (order lunches, snacks, gift cards, social events)
  • Help to manage logistics for new hires in the Roseville site (badge/ID card)
  • Order computer accessories, office supplies, and equipment for site employees.
  • Attend the front office calls (doorbell) during the normal business hours
  • Manage the site shipping and receiving logistics (scheduling with FedEx, international shipping support, sort/respond to mail)
  • Set-up logistics for on-site customer visits
  • Engage with Microchip facilities team, located in San Jose, which is responsible for facility-related support (seating charts, name tags, break room supplies, e-waste scheduling, break/fix resolution, janitorial services, pest control, etc.)
  • Maintain executive calendars.
  • Arrange travel (flight, hotel, rental car) and process expense report
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00/hour DOE
Shift: Day shift, 40 hours per week
Duration: 2 months, with a possibility of extension or conversion to full time position.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Administrator, ideally in a technical environment.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience working with executive leadership is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a time sensitive and results oriented manner
  • This person will be detail-oriented, excellent at follow-through, and able to multi-task.
  • Work effectively with minimal supervision and be comfortable self-directing, managing and organizing their own work flow, using independent thought and action and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Expertise in all current business software applications, e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
  • Must be able to learn and master job-specific web-based databases and business systems
  • Experience working in software development and/or semiconductor development environments is highly desirable
  • Great communication, organizational, interpersonal skills
