Position Summary:
The Lead Information Assurance/Cyber Security Program Manager oversees daily operations of the Cybersecurity Office, ensuring compliance with all applicable DoD, Air Force, and local policies and instructions. Serving as the Primary or Alternate Organization Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Cyber Security Liaison (CSL), this role coordinates cybersecurity actions with the Wing Cybersecurity Office, supporting agencies, and ensures reporting to the AFLCMC/HNC CSO and Government ISSM.

Primary Duties:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day cybersecurity/IA services for all systems and supported programs, including mission, RDT&E, and standalone infrastructure.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity compliance activities, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), vulnerability management, TEMPEST, and incident reporting.
  • Ensure all networked and non-networked systems comply with the most current DoD, Air Force, and federal guidance, and maintain ongoing authority to operate.
  • Report to both the Wing Cybersecurity Office and the AFLCMC/HNC CSO/ISSM, ensuring reporting accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain documentation of compliance activities, vulnerability assessments, and mitigation actions.
  • Serve as focal point for media control, accountability, and distribution for the organization.
  • Lead efforts relating to cybersecurity training, certification compliance, and workforce readiness

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • DoD 8140.01 IAM Level II (or the most current DoD standard).
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
  • Must maintain IAT Level II baseline certification.
  • Possess and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance and valid CI Polygraph, or obtain within 6 months of contract start.
