Join Orano's IKE Project in Oak Ridge, Tennessee - a major new uranium enrichment facility that will strengthen the U.S. nuclear fuel supply chain and drive innovation in the region. As part of this team, you'll support the delivery of a stateoftheart plant supplying low enriched uranium (LEU) to U.S. reactors while contributing to one of the largest private investments in Tennessee's history. Orano is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to lead the integrated risk management program across the IKE Project and its Major Contractors. You'll oversee risk identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting throughout the engineering, procurement, and construction lifecycle to protect project objectives and ensure successful execution. This position is based in Oak Ridge, TN, with regular travel to Lenexa, KS, and Bethesda, MD. What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and maintain the project's Integrated Risk Management Framework aligned with Orano processes, industry standards, and the Project Management Plan.
- Identify and assess risks and opportunities across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, including technical, financial, schedule, safety, compliance, and environmental risks.
- Manage the project Risk Register, ensuring risks are logged, analyzed, prioritized, mitigated, and tracked to closure.
- Develop mitigation and contingency plans in coordination with project management, contractors, safety, legal, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular risk reports to senior leadership, highlighting emerging risks, mitigation progress, and recommendations.
- Lead risk workshops, reviews, and briefings to drive awareness and alignment on risk treatment.
- Collaborate with cost, schedule, quality, safety, security, and compliance teams to ensure integrated risk management.
- Monitor compliance with governance, regulatory, safety, security, environmental, and contractual requirements.
- Deliver training and guidance on risk management processes, tools, and best practices.

Ideal qualifications
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Risk Management, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in project or construction risk management, ideally on large or complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of risk management standards (e.g., ISO 31000) and proficiency with risk analysis tools (e.g., risk registers, quantitative analysis, @Risk, SAFRAN, Primavera Risk Analysis).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to develop practical mitigation strategies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with senior leadership, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and reporting capabilities with consistent followthrough.
- Experience in megaprojects or highsecurity environments (defense, nuclear, industrial, critical facilities).
- Familiarity with D&B/CM contract structures, risksharing mechanisms, insurance, and bonding.
- Professional risk management certification (CRMP, ISO 31000, PMP, PMIRMP, etc.) preferred.
