JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for heading our marketing department's Product Implementation team. As the Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and empowering a team of product managers, driving the successful development, launch, and lifecycle management of our dental products. You will work closely with marketing leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure that product strategies are not only innovative but also align with our broader business goals and meet customer demands effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of multiple product pipelines, ensuring seamless progression through key milestones including 510k approvals, drawings, country registrations, labeling, packaging, and others, while aligning with the company's long-term vision. (45%)
  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive project management system, enhancing internal visibility, coordination, and collaboration across various departments to drive product innovation and efficiency. (20%)
  • Engage in high-level strategic discussions with Marketing leadership to establish and adhere to realistic timelines, ensuring product readiness for strategic launches and maximizing market impact. (15%)
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence within the Product Management Team by mentoring, leading by example, and promoting professional development to achieve and surpass team goals. (10%)
  • Spearhead special projects critical for maintaining the competitiveness and relevance of the overall product portfolio, including pricing strategies, lifecycle management, and market expansion initiatives. (5%)
  • Forge and maintain strategic internal partnerships with key stakeholders such as QA/RA, Engineering, Media, and Marketing, to streamline the product development process from concept to market launch. (3%)
  • Oversee the product management budget with a strategic focus, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum efficiency and impact. (2%)

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Extensive experience in product management, with a distinguished track record of successful product launches and management.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing and inspiring a team of product managers towards achieving exceptional results.
  • Experience in strategic planning, cross-functional team leadership, and driving product innovation in a competitive market.
  • Expertise in advanced project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, with the ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the product lifecycle, from ideation through development to market exit strategies.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 3 or more years of management experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically 10% to 20%. Hybrid work environment. No special physical demands required.
