As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will spend much of your shift on the move, performing vehicle and foot patrols, checking access points, and watching for unusual activity that could become a security-related incident. This is a driving post, so you will operate a patrol vehicle, respond to calls for service, and provide professional customer service while supporting a caring team that acts with integrity and stays agile, reliable, and innovative.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or operational concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with clinical staff and/or local emergency services as needed.
• Monitor entrances and common areas, support visitor check-in and wayfinding, and help maintain orderly access in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete timely written and/or electronic reports, document incidents and observations, and communicate important information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
