What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgement and communication skills.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal protocols and client site instructions.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or incidents, documenting relevant information for follow-up.
• Maintain a visible security-related presence to help to deter potential threats within the financial institution environment.
• Collaborate with site staff and/or law enforcement as needed to address incidents or support ongoing investigations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
