As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community, you will conduct routine foot patrols of buildings and grounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to alarms and resident concerns, and document activity using a computer and/or tablet. You will bring strong customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile team that acts with integrity and delivers through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including resident concerns, disturbances, and access issues.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor and document security-related activity, complete patrol logs and incident reports, and communicate observations to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Control access by observing entry and exit points, verifying authorization when required, and assisting with visitor directions and/or resident inquiries.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
