Security Guard - Healthcare Patrol Full-Time

As a Security Guard - Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will complete routine rounds, maintain a visible presence, and support access control and visitor flow while responding to security-related concerns with calm, customer-focused communication. You will document observations, collaborate with staff, and help promote an orderly, professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and coordinated notifications to appropriate site personnel and/or public responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with wayfinding, and help maintain orderly movement through lobbies, corridors, and other common areas in accordance with site policies.
• Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation as required by Allied Universal and site procedures, and communicate observations to the shift lead and/or site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 or more years of security experience.
• Be at least 21 or more years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
