You will perform routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist tenants, visitors, and staff with clear customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Help to support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or credentials as required, and directing visitors according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete security-related reports such as shift activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
