As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an education campus location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist students, staff, and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. You will report concerns, support access and events, and respond to calls for service while living Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disruptive behavior, and policy violations, and notify Allied Universal supervision and/or local responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, common areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or theft, and identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Control access by monitoring entrances and restricted areas, checking identification and/or authorization when required, and providing directions and assistance to guests.
• Complete patrol and incident documentation, maintain shift logs, and communicate observations through approved reporting systems and/or radios for timely follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
