TITLE: Sr. Project Manager



POSITION OBJECTIVE:


The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the development of new business opportunities and growth initiatives, as well as identifies and capitalizes on potential new markets and products, identifying opportunities related to product, pricing, and placement through end market and internal data. Working closely with sales and marketing teams, and the production plant management, this role develops and executes cross-functional plans involving production, sales, and marketing while managing the product life cycle from strategic planning through tactical execution. All initiatives are aligned with corporate objectives and performance measured against annual sales, profitability, and budget goals.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of combined sales, marketing, and product development experience
  • At least 3 years of new business development experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of financial analysis
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing personnel, staff and complex activities
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions preferred
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Sales & Business Development


    • Manage and grow existing customer accounts





    • Evaluates market research and competitive analyses to identify new business opportunities, acquisition opportunities and assess market trends
    • Provide compelling proposals and presentations to secure new business





    • Execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve annual sales and profitability goals





    • Tracks business development progresses and reports on results





    • Prepare and present sales plans, forecasts, and performance reviews


  • Marketing & Product Strategy


    • Research competitors' strengths and weaknesses
    • Serve as the market research expert, analyzing external and internal data to identify growth opportunities





    • Assesses potential new markets and products, evaluates business opportunities, and develops strategies for targeting potential customers.





    • Develop integrated product, sales, and marketing plans and KPIs to maximize profitable growth
    • Manage the product life cycle, including new product development, enhancements, redesigns, and innovation
    • Provide market insight and customer intelligence to support research, design, and development of new products and technologies


  • Strategic & Financial Leadership


    • Align market opportunities with production and operational capabilities
    • Conduct cost/benefit, pricing policy, profitability, and P&L analyses to support decision-making
    • Ensure all sales and marketing initiatives and priorities are executed within budget
    • Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and emerging needs


  • Team Management




    • Engages in cross-functional leadership that includes multiple disciplines like engineering, design, production, marketing, and sales across various entities to achieve goals and meet customer demand





    • Monitor and evaluate customer interactions to ensure adherence to quality standards, policies, and procedures
    • Work with other departments (production, credit, legal, IT, etc.) to address customer needs and ensure high quality execution
    • Ensure sales operation efficiency and accountability against goals
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales representatives, and business partners




WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:



  • Work is primarily performed in an office setting, with travel to plant production sites, customer locations, and prospective client visits as required.
