KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Director to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead multi-disciplinary / cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop machine learning models, and data science solutions
  • Utilize best practices / processes to plan, lead, and execute delivery of data analytics and AI engagements
  • Support KPMG clients in designing / developing modern enterprise data strategy, evaluating existing data platforms, identifying technology / process gaps, data maturity assessment, designing roadmaps for platform modernization, technology adoptions, and digital transformation
  • Lead and support technical teams in developing and deploying data products and/or production-level AI and Machine Learning solutions by leveraging modern open source or enterprise ready tools / technologies
  • Oversee large scale, critical data science initiatives / projects, ensuring timely delivery of engagement requirements
  • Perform explanatory data analyses, generate / test working hypotheses, prepare / analyze historical data and identify patterns; perform machine learning, natural language, and statistical analysis methods (such as classification, cluster analysis, collaborative filtering, sentiment analysis, language modeling, time-series analysis, regression, statistical inference, etc.)
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of eight years of data science / developing machine learning models; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; advanced from an accredited college/university preferred
  • Experience applying artificial intelligence / machine learning techniques to achieve business goals; ability to work with business to understand available resources and constraints around data (sources, integrity, definitions); provide assistance and resolve issues
  • Expertise with programming languages such as Python, R, Java, SQL and open-source packages / libraries
  • Experience leading large technical data engagements and teams
  • Experience developing Deep Learning Models (e.g. - CNN, Recurrent, etc.) and its applications (object detection, text recognition, language modeling, etc.) and tools (e.g. - TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Fast.ai, etc.)
  • Experience establishing data governance, model validation protocols, reproducible pipelines, and quality frameworks aligned to federal requirements
  • Experience in leveraging cloud services or Cloud Certification (e.g. - AWS Solution Architect, AWS Machine Learning, Google Data Engineering, Azure AI Engineer Associate etc.)
  • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
  • Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Top-Secret clearance
