The Opportunity

As Adobe enhances our digital strategy in the world of generative AI, the Experience and Engagement team is looking to scale earned authority within the Wikipedia ecosystem to ensure information about Adobe products and platforms is up-to-date and accurate.

We are seeking a senior GEO & Wikipedia Strategy Lead to define, govern, and scale our enterprise approach to Wikipedia representation-with direct impact on generative AI visibility, trust, and citation across AI-powered search and answer engines.

This role will partner closely with Communications, Public Relations, SEO, Marketing, Legal and external agencies to operationalize Wikipedia as a critical authority layer in AI discovery.

What you'll Do

In this role, you'll own how Adobe products are represented on Wikipedia, ensuring policy-compliance, transparency, neutrality, and defensible practices are at the core of our program.

  • Define and own the enterprise-wide Wikipedia strategy and operating model for scaling content accuracy, updates, and representation for Adobe product pages and related key topics
  • Lead the prioritization and roadmap in partnership with Product Marketing and SEO partners
  • Audit existing Wikipedia content for gaps, inaccuracies, bias, or outdated information
  • Translate company milestones into encyclopedic, neutral, third-party-sourced narratives
  • Establish clear standards, playbooks, and approval workflows for Wikipedia updates and sourcing practices, guiding teams on what can and cannot be added to Wikipedia-and why
  • Ensure strict adherence to Wikipedia policies (NPOV, COI, verifiability, reliable sourcing)
  • Partner with Comms, PR and Legal teams to manage conflict-of-interest disclosures and risk
  • Source and manage specialized agencies to develop editorial implementation plans, facilitate the editing process, monitor pages, and provide feedback on strategic adjustments
  • Build repeatable workflows to scale updates across business units and regions
  • Partner with Adobe.com product partners to align Wikipedia updates with broader GEO and authority strategies
  • Partners with Insights team members to monitor how Wikipedia content is surfaced, summarized, or cited by AI platforms and define success metrics for Wikipedia health and impact
  • Act as the internal authority on Wikipedia policy and standards
What you need to succeed
  • 8+ years in SEO, content strategy, corporate communications, or digital reputation management
  • Demonstrated experience working with Wikipedia at scale (editing, governance, or agency oversight)
  • Experience partnering with third-party Wikipedia agencies or editors
  • Deep understanding of Wikipedia policies, editorial culture, and sourcing requirements
  • Experience operating within large, matrixed enterprise organizations
  • Strong judgment in high-risk, high-visibility content environments
