Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician A Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician is responsible for monitoring operations, servicing, and maintaining servers, networking systems, and telecommunication equipment within a centralized data facility. This role requires a blend of IT support, security awareness, and light facility maintenance. Key Responsibilities * Perform security monitoring and onsite security functions * Provide client support and maintain strong customer relations * Deliver IT support across helpdesk, server, and networking tasks * Conduct operational and facility support activities * Monitor onsite and offsite equipment * Perform facility tests and routine inspections * Respond to emergency situations as part of an on-call rotation * Complete additional tasks assigned by the Data Manager Requirements * Moderate understanding of IT helpdesk functions, servers, and networking * Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge * Strong customer service and communication abilities * Familiarity with security protocols * Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and similar software * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively * Weekend availability; rotating on-call responsibilities Experience & Education * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field * CompTIA certification (preferred, not required) * Minimum of 6 months of IT experience Additional Skills * Help desk support * Security operations * NOC monitoring * Outlook, Excel, and database proficiency * Basic computer programming knowledge * Ability to complete light mechanical tasks (e.g., air filter replacement, small repairs) * Comfortable using equipment such as pallet jacks Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
