We'relooking for a leader and cross-team collaborator to partner with stakeholders tobuild and execute security readiness & enablementto drive revenue growth for the Security Solution Area. This role is primarily focused on theobjectiveof meeting and exceeding theglobal salesreadinessstrategyand execution. This entails developing enterprise and scalesalesreadiness, enablement and community developmentthat are tied withgo-to-market initiatives.

As the Director Business Strategy - Security Sales Enablement,you will enable our sales field to achieve our collective growth aspirations by buildingsales competencies and lead, support and deliver effectivesalesenablement for the Chief Security Advisors (CSAs) and other seller communities. The CSAs build the strategic, longterm advisory relationships and bring credibility into the Csuite engagements. You'llpartner closely with stakeholders including senior leaders in the Product Group,other Commercial Solution Areas beyond Security,Worldwide Learning, Customer Success,Marketingand other business units to shape & executeSecurity Sales Enablement.

TheDirector Business Strategy - Security Sales Enablementwill ensure we definethe strategy, saleslearning paths, readiness activities, events, and activate other enablement sockets to set Chief Security Advisors (CSAs) and other communities for success and maximize short, medium, and long-term business impact.Thisperson will build approaches thatharness the feedback, knowledge, and power of oursalescommunities todeliver success through effectivesalesenablement learning and innovating from industry standards and from within Microsoft. This leader will be anadvocate for the field and will be counted on torepresentthe voice of the field, the CSA community, and customers across our corporate functions.

Responsibilities

Primary accountabilities include:

  • SalesEnablement& CommunityDevelopment:Leveragebusiness,industry, and technicalknowledgeto createa highvaluesales learning path, readiness, and communities for the sales organization.
  • Control and Monitor Results:EnsurerightKPIsare inplace to achievethe rightoutcomes for our customers and to measure business impact.Analyzereadinessoutcomeand customer feedback to drive continuous improvement to drive sustainable revenue and consumptiongrowth.
  • Closed Feedback Loop:Facilitationand delivery of closed feedback loop with key executive sponsors and cross-organizational partners includingEngineering, Product Marketing, WW STU/CustomerSuccess,Worldwide Learning, etc.
  • Field Connection & Immersion:Establishfield relationships and ongoing engagement to formalize connection channels, listening systems, escalation management, and field council.
  • Landing : Accelerate the landing of the Security Sales Motions of various readiness channels:Partneracross organizationsto ensurea successfulrolloutof sales readiness across all sales motions.
  • Sales Intensity : drive key initiatives to improve the consultative skilling and sales intensity within the communities through thoughtful and end to end enablement planning


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years' experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years' experience in Near Term Strategy (2 years out), Management Consulting, Sales, GTM or Sales Enablement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in sales /go-to-market (GTM)/readinessroles OR product management; Cyber Security experience is a plus
  • Experience building forward-looking performance indicators that helpanticipateissues
  • Experience in executive communication strategies and enablement plans. Experience working in a large, global, matrixed organization (working in emerging/developed countries is a plus).
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing and experimenting with AI and automation tools to improve productivity, speed, or efficiency within sales enablement, GTM, or adjacent business functions.
  • Experience working as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) OR Chief Security Officer (CSO)OR working closely with CISOs or CSOs.


Sales Strategy Enablement IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
