• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred
• Related experience is helpful.
• Valid drivers License is required

Position: Direct Support Professional / Driver

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Crafton Area)

Pay Rate: $17 (Earn an additional $2/hour with election of Enhanced Pay option.)

Shift: 7:30 am - 4 pm (Rotating weekends)

Merakey, a leading non-profit provider of developmental and behavioral health services, is seeking mission-driven, compassionate, and reliable individuals to join our team in Pittsburgh (Crafton).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills
• Provide community support, transportation
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained)
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs
• Safely transport residents & staff to various community locations (i.e. medical appointments, hospitals, school, shopping areas, job sites, day programing etc.)
• Inspect vehicles daily for cleanliness, routine maintenance needs, body damage & general appearance
• Evaluate vehicles on their performance & prepare reports on any malfunctions.
• To ensure proper vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain trip logs on a daily basis.
• Assist with clerical & organizational duties as assigned.
• Maintain consistent contact with Transportation Manager / Shift supervisor, medical dept. as needed for trip dispatch.
