As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This role is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license, along with Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while supporting a caring, agile team that leads with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify unusual conditions, and report hazards or maintenance concerns through appropriate channels.
• Respond to alarms, calls for assistance, and critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, coordination with clinical leadership, and timely notification of law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification and/or authorization, monitoring entrances and sensitive locations, and documenting visitor and contractor activity per site requirements.
• Carry, maintain, and account for issued equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws, complete required reporting, and participate in required training and briefings related to armed post duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification Texas only.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
