The short-term student hire candidate will join our research team and contribute to the analysis of complex cancer spatial datasets like prostate cancer and brain cancer. In this role, the summer student will receive comprehensive training in bioinformatics workflows, specifically focusing on how to process and interpret high-dimensional spatial transcriptomics data. The candidate will work closely with senior researchers to map molecular profiles back to their original tissue locations, helping to uncover the architectural nuances of tumor progression. Ideal candidates should have a foundational understanding of genomics data processing and a strong interest in computational data science. Throughout the internship, the candidate will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and programming languages like R or Python. This is an excellent opportunity to build a technical portfolio while contributing to meaningful oncology research.
