Job Description

Work Shift: Monday - Friday

Mission

Provide administrative, sales and clerical support to the Planning Department. The focus of this role is to process and manage Router and BOM changes through Innovator and visibility. In addition, this person will be responsible for limited customer service accounts and for supporting other Planning and Sales Administrative functions.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Router and BOL Management:

Objective: To Process and Manage Router and BOL changes.

Typical Activities:

  1. Works with Engineers in initiating changes in process routers.
  2. Create router changes in Visibility and route for review via Innovator.
  3. Ensure changes are accurate and appropriately documented in Innovator.
  4. Track changes through Approval Process and follow up where needed.
  5. Support changing paperwork on the floor when needed.
  6. Represent planning in meetings with Finance, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
  • Customer Service Planning:

Objective: Customer Service Planning Support

Typical Activities:

  1. Support Customer Service Responsibilities for limited accounts.
  2. Promised Date and WIP Management in Visibility.
  3. Review PO's to ensure Customer Require Dates schedules can be accepted.
  4. Review Primary Schedule report to balance long term schedules, manufacturing orders, and customer require dates.
  5. Provide delivery and WIP updates to customers.
  6. Resolve questions or problems associated with customer deliveries.
  7. Support tracking and processing of Return Parts.
  8. Attend meetings and calls where needed to support assigned accounts.
  9. Develop and coordinate planning changes where needed (i.e. recovery plans, wax build ahead due for tool rework, customer holiday shutdown adjustment, etc.).
  • Planning and Sales Administrative Support:

Objective: Support other Planning and Sales Administrative Functions as needed

Typical Activities:

  1. Run daily reports.
  2. Process PCR Router Changes.
  3. Work Order Management: Releasing WO's, change quantities, conversions, etc.
  4. Support PO Review process at SSBO including tracking and sending PO's to Division for Entry.
  5. Review customer demand schedules (via Portals or otherwise) and compare them with PCC MRP (Visibility) demand
  • Other Activities as assigned:

Objective: Support Sales and Planning where Needed

    Qualifications:

    1. Associate (two year) degree preferred but will consider those with equivalent work experience.
    2. Minimum four years related professional experience with at least two of those years related to a Planner/Scheduler/Analyst position.
    3. Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks.
    4. Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
    5. Positive mental attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
    6. Working knowledge of PCC's systems, processes, products and customers strongly preferred. Must be computer literate with skills in MS Word, Excel, and Visibility.
