As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover Shift in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist tenants and visitors with a customer-first approach, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and observe building activity, verifying identification and/or access authorization when required, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift turnover notes, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and suspicious activity through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
