As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols and high-visibility rounds to help discourage security-related incidents, assist guests and tenants with directions and concerns, and communicate clearly with onsite partners. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, retailers, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, exterior perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations, watching for unusual activity and/or hazards that may require attention.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor entrances, loading areas, and other access points, assisting with directions, policy reminders, and unauthorized access concerns to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
