Duties, Responsibilities & Other

The Senior Director of Delivery is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring exceptional client outcomes across KCI's Technology & Innovation sector services portfolio. This role leads and scales delivery teams with full accountability for project execution, quality, and financial performance, while establishing disciplined, repeatable delivery methods that increase predictability and client satisfaction. Acting as a trusted partner to clients and internal growth teams, the Senior Director shapes delivery approaches, provides clear scoping and levelofeffort assumptions, and ensures the right teams are in place to deliver consistently highquality results. With a strong focus on delivery governance, talent development, and continuous improvement, this leader plays a critical role in building scalable delivery capabilities that deepen client relationships and support longterm, profitable growth.

Responsibilities include:

    Lead and scale the Technology Services delivery teams, with full accountability for project execution, technical leadership, delivery quality, and repeatable delivery methods and service packages.
  • Own delivery performance outcomes across scope, schedule, and budget, establishing delivery discipline that improves predictability, client satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Design, implement, and govern a standardized delivery system,ensuring consistent adoption, quality and execution across delivery teams.
  • Develop and continuously improve service packages that increase proposal consistency and delivery repeatability.
  • Partner closely with growth and operations support providing technical scope and level-of-effort (LOE) assumptions and confirm staffing/resource allocation decisions.
  • Provide delivery leadership across the sector's prioritized offer portfolio ensuring consistent methods, quality standards, and delivery staffing models.
  • Establish and manage delivery performance reporting and operating cadence.
  • Oversee project/program management excellence, including appropriate use of PM/Scrum practices, risk/issue management, stakeholder communication, and project controls.
  • Build and mature delivery capabilities to increase recurring revenue and client retention.
  • Lead talent development for delivery roles: skills visibility, training plans, coaching/mentoring, and retention plans.
  • Ensure delivery teams consistently use required systems and data discipline, partnering with operations support to improve forecasting and staffing predictability.
  • Support partner/alignment strategies as needed to extend delivery capacity and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

Education, Skills and/or experiences required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data/Analytics, GIS/Geospatial, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in technology consulting/professional services delivery, including complex implementation programs.
  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary delivery teams (e.g., architects, engineers, PMs, analysts) with responsibility for delivery quality and financial performance.
  • Demonstrated experience owning delivery governance (delivery standards, QA/QC, project controls) and improving on-time/on-budget performance.
  • Strong estimating and scoping capability (LOE, assumptions, delivery approach) and ability to manage delivery profitability.
  • Experience delivering and integrating enterprise platforms and data solutions such as COTS/SaaS implementations, integrations, analytics/reporting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level client engagement.
  • Experience working with public-sector and/or infrastructure-owner clients.

Education, Skills and/or experiences preferred:

  • Master's degree (MBA, MS) in a relevant field.
  • Experience building repeatable delivery packages, accelerators, templates, and playbooks to scale a services organization.
  • Experience leading technology consulting services operations.
  • Experience with one or more priority Technology Services domains/offers (e.g., Enterprise GIS/Esri, asset management/CMMS-EAM, data platforms/BI, compliance platforms, broadband network inventory/analytics, digital government and permitting/land management modernization).
  • Relevant leadership in partner co-delivery models.

Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:

  • None required. Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Scrum/Agile, or ITIL certifications are a plus.
