Daikin Applied is seeking aProject Manager for our San Antonio District. Location: In office and frequent travel to customer sites within the San Antonio district including the RGV and Austin areas.

What you will do:

  • Reviews project proposal to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.

  • Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required.

  • Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.

  • Participate in pre-sale site visits with Account Managers, primarily for learning and support.

  • Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters, and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications.

  • Establishes a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews.

  • Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.

  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion.

  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.

  • Obtains acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer.

  • Responsible for the successful completion of assigned projects.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.

  • 2+ years of related project experience, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or comparable industry.

  • Commercial HVAC experience.

  • PMP Certification, PE License, or related (Preferred).

The typical salary for this position in Texas ranges from $90,000 - $148,00 + annual bonus incentive. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
