Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a
Program Systems Integrator to support an MTSI contract with the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics at Lorton, VA. This position provides essential day-to-day coordination and program management support to the systems engineering, development, and sustainment teams on time-critical, classified projects requiring technical expertise. The successful candidate will manage status tracking and communication workflows and ensure integration across program teams. This role is ideal for someone seeking to grow into systems integration or program management leadership within a high-visibility Department of War (DoW) program.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Support planning, facilitation, and documentation of recurring working groups, technical reviews, and stakeholder meetings. Manage meeting logistics, agendas, and follow-up actions to ensure closure and accountability.
- Assist the program leadership team in coordinating technical and programmatic activities across program development, operations, and sustainment.
- Collect, organize, and synthesize program status inputs; develop summary charts, dashboards, and other visual materials for internal and external reporting. Draft, review, and edit program reports, briefings, and documents for senior executives in the DoW, Intelligence Community, Congress, the National Security Council, and other government agencies.
- Review and evaluate contract deliverables, integrated master schedules, technical status reports, invoices and cost performance reports and provide assessments to the Government team.
- Coordinate among development, systems engineering, cyber security, sustainment, and program security teams to maintain alignment.
- Interface with users, mission partners, and other government and contractor stakeholders to facilitate effective communication. Coordinate and facilitate meetings, briefings, and other events to support program execution.
- Operate effectively within heterogeneous collaboration ecosystems-MS Teams, Slack, Jira, Confluence, and others.
- Identify opportunities to streamline coordination processes, improve document traceability, and enhance overall program communication efficiency.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in program coordination, systems integration, or project support within a technical or defense environment.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, Slack, and SharePoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing presentation materials for leadership audiences.
- Experience working DoD/DoW acquisition programs.
Desired Requirements:
- Experience as an Air Force officer or Department of Air Force civilian acquisition professional.
- Experience with expedited/rapid acquisitions and other transaction authorities.
- Experience supporting configuration management or asset tracking activities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certification.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in a Technical field.
- Technical Master's Degree - Desired
Clearance Requirements:
- TS/SCI with previous SAP experience required.
